Checkerboard Patterns in The Kitchen

Personally I think that checkerboard design patterns don’t belong I the kitchen. None the less, I will discuss popular places where these busy styles are used. Your going to see that the only limitations to using the black and white checks is your own imagination. A word of advice, only use this layout in one area of the kitchen cabinetry or countertop design. You should also consider working with all solid colors in the surrounding areas. What Makes a Kitchen Design Look Ugly

I know what makes good cupboards not attractive in the kitchen. A great design can suddenly look ugly if caution is not used with the surrounding elements of the kitchen. I am going to discuss a few things that I have noticed that can really make a nice set of cupboards look awful. Kitchen Cabinet Chalkboard Designs

Is it a good idea to have a kitchen cabinet part with a permanent chalkboard installed? Custom designs can hinder the resale of your home. Be careful where you install creative items.

How to Replace Cabinet Toe Kick Plates

Why would you want to replace kitchen or bathroom vanity cabinet toe bases? IF you have had any extensive water damage and there is evidence of swelling, then you should replace the toe kicks. If you are certain that the bottoms of the actual cabinetry boxes were not affected, then it’s fine to only tear out the toe bases.
