Follow These Steps

Measure the walls from left to right and the floor to the ceiling in the area of the closet where you want to design the cabinetry for. Obviously, you are going to write these dimensions down on a piece of paper. The best way I have found to do this is to actually draw a rectangle that represents the front view of one wall in the closet.
