I have 12 year old Kraftmaid Thermofoil cabinets that I still love them but on 12 cabinets the entire cover is literally popping off the doors. I have called Kraftmaid and there attitude is they are no longer under warranty. I have had someone come out and try contact cement and gorilla glue but nothing seems to stick. Do you have any suggestions??

Is it possible to send some pictures? I have a similiar set up with the TV unit in center and shelving units to the right and left. What would you do with the shelves that would partcially be obscurred bythe TV? Why do you have to pull out the cabinets to cut the notch. Tha will require removing all the base board trim and crown molding on top...could you not cut the notch without moving/separating the units? Any advice greatly appreciated

We just replaced our fridge and because it is taller we can not open the two small cabinet doors above the new frige. Can I cut off 1 inch from the small thermofoil doors?

Thanks

There is actually a really great adhesive remover made by Genesis products (Genesis Adhesive Remover) that works better then the lacquer thinner. It is pretty popular in California because it exceeds all the federal/state regulations for clean air, VOC and Prop 65. It also has no acetone so it does not damage the risk of ruining any surfaces. This might be something you may want to check out, or any of the readers who are worried about fumes & odors and damge to countertops.

Genesis products makes a great adhesive remover designed just for this purpose without damaging countertops or violating state/federal regulations.

I'm looking for discontinued formica Almond Dust #1817. I need a piece 30x48 or whatever I can get to add on to a kitchen. I tried calling the number for Scott but it doesn't go through. Does any one have the number or know where I can locate some Almond Dust.
