Fastener For Mounting Cabinets To Steel Wall Studs

This fastener is perfect for mounting kitchen cabinets to steel wall studs. It is called a Snaptoggle and will support a tremendous amount of weight when it is installed correctly.

There is one additional step required when installing with this type of fastener in relation to the traditional method of using screws. You will have to hold the upper cabinet in place, drill a hole where the fastener will be installed in the metal stud and then take the cabinet down.
